Privacy policy

Last updated 18 September 2026.

This policy explains what Boole collects and what it does not. It follows Canada's federal privacy law, PIPEDA.

What we collect

What we do not do

Cookies and analytics

Boole uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. Google sets cookies for this and processes the data on its own servers. You can block cookies in your browser, or install Google's opt-out add-on, and the site will still work.

Advertising

Pages may show advertising supplied by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies to choose which advertisements you see. You can control this in Google's ad settings.

Email

We only send email to people who asked for it or who wrote to us first, as Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) requires. Every message we send identifies us and carries a way to unsubscribe, which we act on within ten business days.

How long we keep things

Server logs are kept for up to 90 days. Messages and removal requests are kept for two years, so we have a record of what was agreed. Search terms are kept in aggregate form only.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to us through the contact page and we will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

Boole is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
